I've found that many people have their computer set to a low color display setting because they just don't know that their computer is capable of so much more or they don't know how to change the setting to get a true color image. Be sure your computer is set for high color display! If your computer is at a low color display...CHANGE IT!
First go to your desktop. Select "Start", "Settings", "Control Panel"... |
|
Double click the "Display" icon. From this location, you can change the color settings. Most books recommend 256 color...(however this truly sucks) so change your settings to 16 bit, 24 bit, or 32 bit (whichever is highest for your particular card). If your card is currently set for 256 color display CHANGE YOUR SETTINGS!!! You will be asked to reboot your computer, but you will notice a startling color difference when looking at full color pictures! |
